New challenges and the impossible.

A new year has just started and it brings along with it many new goals, objectives and challenges we want to face and successfully achieve. Oftentimes, we fail because of lack of discipline, perseverance or because we just don't want to make the corresponding sacrifices that this new objectives also represent.

Some other times we fail because we don't have a realistic concept of what "impossible" means.

Some people say that the word "impossible" is not in their vocabulary, this represents a good attitude towards challenges of course, but might be misleading in some cases as well.

Impossible IS in my vocabulary, there are a few things impossible in my life. For example, it is impossible for me to be a world class opera singer, if you don't believe me then listen to me sing, it is just not happening. Or it is impossible for me to be a NBA player. For starters, I have to be taller and moreover this fat body is just not going to make it in a basketball court, hahaha. Because there is also a determining factor: natural talent. Saying that nothing is impossible won't solve your problems, a good attitude isn't everything, it is only what makes the difference.

But "impossible" doesn't even bother me at all, I don't even think it's a limiting word. I think it's a word that I need to accept, in fact, it is when we DWELL on the word that we become defeated. I have a question to ask you, not what are you doing with the word "impossible", but what are you doing with the word "possible"?

What is it possible that you could be doing, that is within your reach that could help you to be successful? I don't worry about the impossibilities of life, I'm not even going down that trail, I rather go to what is possible because that is where the potential is.

Quit worrying about what you can't do, what you don't have, where you aren't going, where you haven't been. Get that out of your mind, forget about it, don't even bother to worry. What do you have? What can you do? What can you become? What is possible? Because here's what I've discovered: when you find out what is "possible" the word "impossible" doesn't bother you anymore, you can focus your energy, your valuable resources and invest into more fecund aspects of your life that will give you MORE in return, because we all have a different purpose on this planet. Find the purpose of your life and commit to it at a 100%.
